Finding Your Inner Magic...

In today's world, we tend to get caught up in what is expected of us, instead of focusing on what we want. And in that moment, our magic is gone. We go to school to get an education in order to get a high salary, in order to afford our expensive lifestyles - to buy a big house and a fancy car. We are ignoring our inner guidance. We are ignoring those little nudges that say, "go this way". We are ignoring our intuition. We are ignoring our passion. We are in constant competition and comparison with those around us. We are living from the ego; instead of from our hearts. I believe that life is an expression of joy. We are meant to enjoy life and fully surrender to the experience, instead of seeing life as a burden. We are meant to spend time with those we love, create meaningful relationships, and spend time doing things that we are passionate about. Play. I encourage you to play. Have fun. Find your inner child. Find your magic. We can learn a lot of valuable life lessons from children. They are curious about everything they encounter. They ask questions. They get excited. They don't care what others think. They are not restricted by what is socially acceptable. They love fiercely. They express themselves fully, in any way they can. If they don't want to do something, they simply say no. They get back to the basics. They don't let their logical minds get in the way. They are simple, yet complicated all at once. Be curious. Be creative. Listen to your heart. Your magic is hidden in there. Allow yourself to be curious. Allow yourself to follow your heart. Allow yourself time for self-care. Allow yourself to put yourself first. Allow yourself to receive love from those around you and yourself - especially yourself. Allow yourself to be vulnerable. Allow yourself to feel. Allow yourself to find your passion. Allow yourself to try new things. Allow yourself to embrace your life. This is your one chance. Are you making the most of it?
